The EMM network is a group of Mediterranean mountainous areas.
Over the years, it has developed into a community of cooperation to address common challenges, by monitoring them through thematic projects.
The EMM Network was founded in 2013 on the initiative of three rural regions, within the framework of the LEADER program, with common challenges implemented in five mountain regions (Canigou, Olympus, Pedraforca, Sainte-Victoire, Pirin):
• Safeguarding their cultural and natural values from endogenous and exogenous threats
• Exchange of positive experiences and good policy practices
• Strengthening their international recognition
Today, 14 mountain regions share the values of the Network and we continue to grow!
